– Atif Aslam sings Indian songs at Pakistan Day Parade Atif Aslam’s soulful renditions have won him a huge fan following not only in his home country Pakistan, but also across the border, in India. He has worked in Bollywood for over a decade, and has a number of hits to his credit, from Woh Lamhe (Zeher) to the more recent Dil Diyan Gallan (Tiger Zinda Hai).
Recently, Atif was invited to perform at the Pakistan Independence Day Parade at Madison Square Garden, New York. He belted out his popular numbers, and at one point, sang Tera Hone Laga Hoon from Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani.
This invited the wrath of his Pakistani fans who slammed him for singing an Indian song at their Independence Day Parade. They took to social media to express their disgruntlement.
It was also being said that Atif refused to hold the Pakistani flag, which irked the fans further.
